YarraMe School is a region-wide service providing high-quality therapeutic education to children who often present with complex aggressive behaviours. These behaviours may result from suffering significant abuse, neglect, or disrupted attachment. The children may be clients of Child Protection.
YarraMe School staff engage with the children to develop a nurturing, positive relationship and to promote healing, emotional growth and development of positive attitudes to learning.

Casual Relief Teacher (CRT) Work
This position is a classroom teaching role reporting to the Program Manager. The basic function of a casual relief teacher is to deliver curriculum material for the class in the absence of the regular teacher in a manner which is consistent with the philosophy, policy and practice of the school.
To be eligible for casual relief work with the school you must be a qualified educator with current registration with the Victoria Institute of Teaching (VIT).
The school employs casual relief teachers at the following programs in metropolitan Melbourne: Hurstbridge, Preston and Outreach.
YarraMe School engages casual relief teachers through the ANZUK agency.
